Fife Diet is committed to helping people grow some of their own food, on whatever scale possible. We do this in a number of different ways: through our publications, by developing growing spaces in Fife’s communities and through our workshops and Kids’ Gardening Clubs.

All new members receive one of our beautiful Grow-and-Eat calendars when they join up. To download our cooking and growing perpetual calendar go to the All Year Round Growing and Eating Page.

Through our work in communities we support and develop opportunities for people to grow their own food. We have worked in schools across Fife providing them with raised beds and compost facilities. We have been instrumental in the establishment of Broomhill Community Garden and Allotments in Burntisland and The Kaleyard, a food and wildlife garden in Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy.

Our Seed Truck works with community groups across Scotland to enable them to start growing their own food; you can go to the Seed Truck page to find out more.

We also hold workshops and events at both the community gardens.

We are also very active in supporting other groups who are hoping to do similar work through advice, site visits and training.
