Fife Diet A3 Apple PosterAre you looking at a tree groaning with fruit? Are you unable to tell your Coul Blush from your Laxton’s Fortune? You need to get along to Fife’s Apple Day at the Scout Hall, Auchtermuchty on Saturday 2nd November 11am-2pm for a day of appleicious fun.

We have Rob Davidson  with advice to help to set up your own Community Orchard: what plants to grow, what varieties to choose and how to look after them.

We have an Apple ID service – so if you have a tree and you don’t know what it is – bring an apple and we’ll help you identify it.

We have Mrs Mash our story-telling cook with a heap of Apple stories to entertain the kids. Plus dooking, baked apples and juicing for everyone to give a try.

Don’t let good fruit go to waste. Bring along a box of apples and add to the mix and you can take away some freshly juiced Fife Apple Juice.

If you’d like to help out on the day, or for more information on the event, contact mags@fifediet.co.uk
