The weather gods are definitely Fife Diet members. We have had glorious sunshine for all our summer events so far, and yesterday was no exception. We decamped to The Kaleyard in Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy, to launch  our new Grub Club with a fun-packed children’s garden party.

Thanks to everyone who came along on the day and joined in – we hope you all enjoyed creating veg print bunting, chucking seed bombs, peddling along on the smoothie bike, and getting stuck in to the sandwiches!  Below are some highlights of the day for us – if you took any photos yourself that you’d like to share, feel free to send them in.

Remember though that yesterday wasn’t a one off event – we’ll be back every Monday from 4 – 5pm for our weekly Grub Club. You’ll be part of helping us plant, water, tend and grow this fantastic community garden right in the heart of Kirkcaldy. The club is free and no booking is required – just turn up with suitable clothing (or suncream!) and a smile.

For any questions on The Kaleyard or the Grub Club, get in touch with elly@fifediet.co.uk.
