The Seed Truck was at Glasgow Harvest 2012 – all part of the opening of Merchant City’s new SAGE community garden – Greyfriars Garden (it lives here). With live music from Yuptae and genuine actual physical SUNSHINE the event was 100% brilliant.

Featuring the Seed Truck team of Fergus and Meg and the wonderful Elspeth Killen launching our new Take Away Salad Boxes (with thanks to Vegware).   Here are some photos of the day.

The wonderful Kat, SAGE Project Co-ordinator …

Meg, let out of the Fife Diet office, but only on day release…

Our new Take Away Salad Boxes, a cross between bento and cress trays. These ones had alfalfa, fenugreek or beetroot and will sprout quickly giving you lovely microgreens…

Here’s a close up of our lovely Take Away Salad Boxes… ‘here’s one we prepared earlier’

Our brand new Smoothie Bike with thanks to Uula Jero (see his Tools for a Simple Life blog here) …

What a great day with loads of community growing projects including Grow Green with Glasgow’s East End, Parkhead Community Garden, Urban Roots, Woodlands Community Garden, Croqnpoint Community Garden and Dennistoun Diggers (below) …

Great to meet up with Glasgow Locavore and Scottish Orchards too. And finally a big WOW to the beautiful  SAGE garden – kickstarting urban  agriculture in Scotland…

Everyone thinks you’re a nice guy, Mr. Mike Small, but you’re not. Really, you’re not.
