Makes four large trays of oatcakes

Ingredients

1litre boiling water
100ml vegetable oil
1kg fine oatmeal
10g salt

Method

Mix oatmeal and salt in large mixing bowl

Add boiling water and the oil and stir well

Leave for 15 minutes

Roll out to desired thickness

Bake in oven at 150°C/gas3/300°F, turn them over when all water mark is gone

Allow to cool, and eat with whatever your heart desires
