Plots are being dug, carrot flags are being made, cakes are being baked, soil is being shoveled, a whole load of work is going on to get the gardens ready for our public pen day on Sunday 6th March.

We’ve finished our tool-shed, we are barrowing 10 tonnes of top soil onto plots, a skip is arriving to take away the worst of the rubbish and a knotty-weed and root pile is growing in the corner. Other work that is still ongoing: Adam is finishing construction of a nine-bay compost system, Elly is lining the raised beds for the wheel-chair accessible beds and some early planting has started.  Big thanks to Frank who managed to get a donation of some top quality brand new tools.

Please come along and join us to celebrate everybody’s hard work and this amazing new space. There will be tea and cake available all day and lunch – come along any time you fancy. Wellies might be a good idea: Sunday 6th March 11-3 pm off Manse Lane, Burntisland

Or join us for community work days every Tuesday through March 11-3pm – ALL WELCOME

I’d love to be involved but travelling over from Dundee is a wee bit of a stretch! It looks great what you’re up to in Burntisland!
