Some news from our friends at Slow Food Fife! “We have been making progress behind the scenes to set up the Slow Food Fife Convivium – and you will be pleased to know that we have planned a special February event for local cheese lovers!”
The event will be held at the St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company at Falside Farm (on the B9171, 1.5 miles east of Kellie Castle, Anstruther) on Monday 23rd February at 7pm.
This will be a unique chance for you to: Learn about cheese from the experts – Ian Mellis Cheesemongers; see how ‘Anster’ Cheese (Fife’s only local cheese!) is made; Taste lots of Scottish cheeses.
The evening will also include a glass of wine and a hot main meal.
Places at the event are £8 for Slow Food members and £10 for non-members (payable on the night).
Places are limited – so please phone the St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company on 01333 312580 as soon as possible (and before Saturday 21st February) if you would like to reserve a place!
