We are slap bang in the middle of Organic Food Fortnight - this week and next are the times to celebrate, explore and radicalise the movement for food that isn’t chemicalised, shipped, processed and damaging.
The Soil Association Scotland writes: “Entry to the festival is FREE and as well as meeting Scotland’s most passionate artisan organic producers, visitors will be able to choose from a packed programme of celebrity cookery demonstrations, talks, debates, tutored tastings, competitions and all things organic.”
I’m speaking on the issue of food security at the Glasgow Organic Festival on Sunday 21st at 2pm at the Old Fruitmarket, Merchants City.
20-21 September 2008, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm
